What is Archnet?
Archnet is a design studio technology services group within the College of Built Environments (CBE). Archnet provides technology and
design studio computing resources, providing support for Windows 7 and Mac OS X design studio workstations, personal computers, design
applications, and laserjet printers and plotters.
Where is Archnet located?
We are located in Architecture Hall, Room G51. This is where the help desk, plotters and printers are located.
What resources are available in the Architecture Hall studios?
Each studio contains at least two Macintosh computers, both of which are setup with Boot Camp to run Windows 7 as well as Mac OS X 10.6.4. Studios also include either a tabloid or letter size scanner. Wireless and hard-wired ethernet connections
are also available for individuals wishing to connect their own computers.
The studios in Architecture Hall 260 and 230 also include a Laser Cutter.

Files stored directly on Architecture Hall computers can be deleted at any time. Architecture Hall computers are only for temporary storage of files that are backed up in another location. Back-up files to personal disks, CDs, DVDs,
JumpDisks, your Dante account, or other long-term archive media for safe storage.
You are responsible for keeping copies of your work.
